Two Days Left to Win Free Inaugural Trip

10 01 2009

A few weeks ago I posted information about the Case Foundation’s Change Begins With Me contest, giving an awesome prize package to a lucky winner who takes the time to share ideas about creating change in their community. With the inauguration only 10 days away there is still time to enter. It really couldn’t be easier–in 250 characters, explain what you can do to help your community. Seriously, there is no reason NOT to enter. I did and I live in Washington DC! Its a chance to do more than win a prize. Seriously, there is no reason NOT to enter. I did and I live in Washington DC! Its a chance to do more than win a prize, although its a pretty good one. The winner receives:

* two tickets to the Inaugural Ceremony & the Hawaii Inaugural Ball
* volunteer opportunities on Martin Luther King Jr. Day in Washington,
* three-nights hotel stay
* airfare for you and a guest to the Nation’s Capitol
* a Flip video camera

The entries are online, and there seem to be only about 250 at this point. Here’s a few samples from the site to give you an idea of the scope of issues close to people’s hearts:

Amir I. wrote: Find the solution to the problem between Israel and Palestine. I would do this by asking everyone on the internet to post their solution to the problem. I know there is a solution.We are all creatures created by one God.
